Dear Customers,
Potteries Auctions and Louis Taylor Fine Art are currently operating business as close to usual as possible. We wanted to reassure you of what we are doing to keep our staff and customers as safe as possible, and continue to provide you with our auction services.
We have made adjustments inline with government advice andrecommendations and will be continuing to implement changes as they are advised.
We would kindly ask that you take note of what is required from you when visiting our Silverdale and Cobridge salerooms, and the steps we are undertaking to keep everyone as safe as possible on our premises.
– All visitors will be expected to use the hand sanitiser, wipes, or the facilities to wash their hands on entering the saleroom
– We kindly ask that you respect the 2 meter distance between yourselves and other customers and members of staff where possible. We will also be limiting the numbers in each room to support this.
– We are sanitising all surfaces to include door handles, handle rails, and table tops, the saleroom, office, and individually handled items.
– Please stay away if you have any symptoms such as a cough or fever, have been in contact with anyone with symptoms, or have contact with a vulnerable individual.
Condition Reports:
We are continuing to offer our condition report service providing detailed condition reports and further photographs, and in light of the current situation we are offering video condition reports where possible.
Next Auction:
Our next sale at is at Cobridge on 29th March. It will be live online and we encourage you join the auction from the comfort of your own home. However, at this stage you can still attend in person. We will be continuing to offer live telephone lines and commission bidding.
Viewing Times:
As a precaution we are opening our doors early for the April 4th sale – so you can view two sales in one!
We will be restricting the numbers in the saleroom at any one time, for our staff and customer safety.
Friday 27th March 9.00am – 5.00pm at Cobridge AND Silverdale
Saturday 28th March 10.00am – 2.00pm at Cobridge AND Silverdale
Collection and Postage:
Remote payment is encouraged and changes to our collection process to restrict human interaction may apply. We are continuing to operate our packing and postage services, offering a worldwide competitive and professional service. We are also offering an additional courier service where possible to have your items delivery to your door.
Valuation Days:
Our valuation days are currently operating as normal, however all visitors must adhere to the guidance above when entering the saleroom. We are also restricting the numbers in the valuation room at any one time, so we can maintain safe distances as per our government guidelines.
