Top 25 Highest Selling Lots

Our July 30th sale went really well, with a good turnout on a typical warm summers' day.  A barbeque, kept everyone satisfied and well fed, with a choice of tasty burgers and sausage and bacon baps.

Out of 740 lots, the Beswick and Moorcroft items were among our top sellers in this sale, with the Beswick Silver Dunn Galloway at the top of the list.

There will be another opportunity in September to bid on some very interesting and rare Beswick pieces that were once in the collection of Morris Abbot, and which could end up in your collection.

The Moorcroft tall vase, Rowan Berries by Vicky Lovatt was the best seller in the Moorcroft range, and don't forget about the Lise Moorcroft collection, of never seen before pieces that will be available in our September 24th Fine Art, Antiques & Collectables Sale.

The very interesting Loadcraft Loading Kiln and control unit was also on our Top 25 list, as well as the oak and alloy metal garden bench which fetched a very good price, with a number of customers keen to take this bench home.

The Edwardian concertina in its original case was of interest to musicians in the room and sold very well.

Minton and Royal Doulton as always, attracted a number of buyers.

Our furniture selection was very well supported in this auction. A reproduction carved oak four door sideboard found a new home on Saturday, as well as a brown leather Chesterfield with matching footstool.

We look forward to seeing you on Friday, August 26th from 9am - 8pm for the preview of our August 27th sale.
