Whether you’re based in Europe, North America, Australia or elsewhere, we’re always pleased to hear from collectors who own exceptional antiques, ceramics and collectables.
Potteries Auctions regularly attracts bidders from around the world, and in some circumstances we are able to accept consignments from overseas vendors.
Because international shipping, customs and insurance can vary significantly, overseas consignments are assessed on a case-by-case basis before any items are sent to us.
Before You Send Anything
Please do not arrange shipment until you’ve spoken with our specialists.
We’ll first review photographs and details of your items to determine whether they are suitable for auction and discuss the most appropriate options with you.
This helps avoid unnecessary shipping costs if an item is unlikely to be suitable for sale.
How It Works
1. Complete the enquiry form
Tell us about your items and upload clear photographs.
2. Specialist review
Our specialists will assess the information provided and advise whether we’d like to discuss the consignment further.
3. Discuss shipping
If appropriate, we’ll explain the next steps, including shipping, insurance and any documentation that may be required.
4. Consignment
Only once everything has been agreed should items be shipped to Potteries Auctions.
Please Note
International consignments can involve:
- Shipping and insurance costs
- Customs procedures
- Import and export requirements
- Longer processing times than UK consignments
If an item is not suitable for auction, we will advise you before asking you to ship it.
Should an item remain unsold, return shipping and any associated costs are normally the responsibility of the vendor unless agreed otherwise.
