A Preview of our August Auction – 20th Century Pottery, Furniture, Jewellery and More!

Our August sale is a two-day online auction taking place at 10am on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th August. We are offering in-person viewing for this auction by appointment only on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th August, 9am-3.30pm. Due to the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, we are now able to accept a limited number of bidders in person by appointment only. Please bear in mind that for both the safety of our staff and other bidders, it’s preferred that you wear a mask on our premises.The sale will also take place online with a video and audio link however, so you can continue to bid safely from the comfort of your home. Our August auction is set to feature plenty of 20th-century pottery including Royal Doulton figurines and Bunnykins, Beswick, Royal Crown Derby, Wade, Lorna Bailey, Moorcroft, Wedgwood, Royal Albert, Shelley, and Chinese pottery, as well as a large selection of furniture and household items to include a Credenza, sideboards, desks, armchairs, coffers, library steps, occasional tables, glassware, prints and paintings, clocks, mirrors and more.

This large wooden counter top Havana Cigars glazed two-door display cabinet is set to sell for £80-£160.

As always, we have a large selection of watches and jewellery going under the hammer, including rings, necklaces, bangles, brooches, earrings, and costume jewellery, which always prove popular with our buyers, as well as gold and silverware.

We have over 150 unreserved tray lots of good tea, coffee and dinnerware, ceramics, glassware, bric-a-brac, metal ware, and mixed pottery. This month’s lots also feature a selection of collectables include coins, militaria, scientific and oriental items, ephemera, cutlery canteens, writing boxes, whisky and spirits, and stone busts.

We have a range of Asian yellow metal ornate jewellery going under the hammer this month that is set to be very popular. This pendant and earring (top) are set to sell for £375-£550, while this beautiful necklace (bottom) comes with an estimate of £700-£1200.
