A Preview of our April Online Auction – McDonald’s Happy Meal Collectables and More!
There’s a range of McDonald’s collectable plastic shop advertising signs and toys available at our online auction this month, including popular names such as Jurassic Park, The Little Mermaid and more.
Our April sale is a two-day online auction taking place at 10am on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th April. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 situation we are unable to offer in-person viewing, so please check out our online catalogue for more information on the available lots. You can also contact us to arrange a video call to view lots you are interested in or to take advantage of our comprehensive email condition report service.
Due to lockdown restrictions, we are currently unable to accept bidders in person. The sale will take place online only with a video and audio link, so you can continue to bid safely from the comfort of your home. Live online bids can be made through The Saleroom and Easylive Auctions, or commission bids can be made through Potteries Auctions. Find out more on how to submit a commissioned bid at auction. Our April auction is set to feature plenty of 20th century pottery including Royal Doulton figurines and character jugs, Beswick, Masons, Staffordshire Pottery, Moorcroft, Lladro, Coalport, Wedgwood, Royal Albert, Anita Harris, Shelley and Chinese pottery, as well as furniture and household items to include tables, chairs, chests, dressers, desks, sewing tables, corner cupboards, glassware, prints and paintings, chromolithographs, clocks, barometers and mirrors.
As always, we have a large selection of watches and jewellery going under the hammer including rings, necklaces, bangles, brooches, earrings, and costume jewellery, which always prove popular with our buyers, as well as gold and silverware, coins and militaria.
We also have over 150 unreserved tray lots of good tea, coffee and dinnerware, ceramics, glassware, bric-a-brac, metal ware, and mixed pottery. This month’s lots also feature a selection of collector’s items that includes a large collection of McDonalds collectable toys, advertising signs and Disney Happy Meal figures and dolls.

Lot 800 is a collection of McDonald’s Happy Meal kid’s club toys and boxes that includes Barbie and Corgi Racers figurines, together with a plastic shop advertising sign.
Lot 817 is a collection of McDonald’s Aladdin Happy Meal toys and meal boxes together with a display stand.
Lot 820 is a collection of McDonald’s Euro Disney Resort Happy Meal toys together with a plastic shop display sign.

Royal Doulton character jugs often prove popular with our buyers at auction. This set of Long John Silver D6335 and Old Charlie D5420 Royal Doulton large character jugs are estimated to sell for £15-£30.
We have a large selection of Beswick lots this month, including these stunning Beswick horses. Lot 228C (left) is a Beswick Opaque White Shire Horse, while lot 228D is a Beswick Opaque Swish Tail Horse. Both lots are set to go under the hammer for between £300-£600 this weekend.
Lot 737C is a collection of Shelley Vogue shaped 11959 Bands of Green patterned teaware is estimated to sell for £150-£300 and includes platters, a lidded tureen, 2 smaller tureens, 6 side plates and a gravy boat.
Lot 462 is an 8g 18ct gold gents signet ring with an estimate of £150 - £300
This set of six 1920's Mahogany dining chairs come with a estimated sale price of £60-£120
Our April auction also includes an interesting selection of swords. Lot 1080 (top) is a 17th century style Swept Hilt Rapier with an estimate of £300-£600, while lot 1081 is a Victorian Italian Cinquedea sword that’s set to sell for £320-£640.
