At Potteries Auctions, we pride ourselves on the levels of customer care and service we offer, and offer extra services such as in-house packing and our auction postage service to ensure any items that need to be shipped across the UK or internationally are carefully packed by experienced packers to avoid in-transit damage.
Many of our buyers submit online bids, or cannot make it to the auction room, and so we’re unique in offering the valuable service of careful packaging of items bought at our auctions.
Postage and packaging costs are calculated on the quantity of items, size, weight and destination location.
Please contact us for an exact postal quote based on your purchase for both UK and international shipments.
We also offer insurance at a cost of 5% of the goods value. Items will not be covered for loss or damage without insurance.
For large furniture purchases, or large purchases of multiple lots, we can offer a delivery service to most parts of the UK using our own safe and careful couriers. Alternatively, customers can make their own courier arrangements.
Please note: we reserve the right to refuse postage on any item, in particular any awkward and/or bulky items. Please call us prior to the auction you plan to bid on for more postage information to avoid disappointment.
