At Potteries Auctions, we believe that every item has a story – and sometimes that story continues long after the auction has ended.
As part of our commitment to supporting local communities and reducing waste, we regularly work with charities to ensure that suitable items can continue to make a difference. We are therefore delighted to have recently donated proceeds totalling £819.78 to two fantastic organisations:
- £703.43 raised for The Children’s Society
- £116.35 raised for The Salvation Army
These funds will help support the valuable work carried out by both charities, benefiting individuals and families across the UK.
Every year, thousands of lots pass through our salerooms and are marketed to a global audience through our network of international auction platforms. While the vast majority of items successfully find new homes with collectors, dealers and enthusiasts around the world, there are occasionally items that remain unsold after being offered for sale.
Rather than allowing these items to go to waste, we work with charitable partners wherever possible, giving them a second opportunity to generate value and support important causes. This approach not only benefits local charities but also reflects our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
