What Happens After You Win?

If you win an item while attending in person:

  • Visit the main office to pay and collect your item.
  • Please allow approximately five minutes after the hammer falls for administration processing.
  • If bidding on multiple lots, you may prefer to settle once all your lots have finished.

For all buyers:

  • Payment and collection must be completed within seven days.
  • Postage services are available if you require delivery.

Absolutely. You can bid live online through our website or via approved bidding platforms. Our in-house Potteries Live system also allows fee-free online bidding.

When can I view auction items?

Viewing is typically available 1–2 days before the auction and shortly before the sale begins.

Can I request a condition report?

Yes. Our specialists can provide a detailed condition report if you are unable to view items in person, helping you bid with confidence.

How long do I have to pay after winning a lot?

Successful bidders have seven days to pay for and collect their items.

Do you offer postage or shipping?

Yes, postage services are available for buyers who cannot collect in person. Full details are available on our postage information page.

Can I sell items in a future auction?

Yes. We offer free, no-obligation valuations for ceramics, jewellery, antiques and collectables suitable for auction.
