Highlights from our Special Two-Day Beswick & Royal Doulton Auction

Debbie Porter

This gorgeous Beswick walking chocolate Labrador 3062B figure, Collectors Club Special 1993 edition, sold for a very impressive £880

We were incredibly privileged to help sell one of the world’s largest single owner collections of Beswick pieces at auction this month at our Silverdale showroom. The collection belonged to the late Bill Peck who lived in Seattle, Washington, USA, and, to give some context to how big the collection was, it arrived in an articulated lorry! Find out more about Bill and his collection here.

The collection included rare horses, animals, birds, cattle, fish, butterflies, Bunnykins and Beatrix Potter, Kitty MacBride, comical animals and Colin Melbourne design animal and bird models, as well as Beswick Ware early items such as vases, centre pieces, dishes, bowls, tea and dinner ware. Check out some of the highest selling lots below!
