Did you know that auctions can be a good place for picking up a used car? This 14-plate MG MG3 3style+ lux VTI-tech car with 41502 miles sold for a very reasonable £2,500 at our December auction.
Our final auction of the year took place this month on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th December and featured an exciting array of items, from 20th-century British pottery to large collections of Ercol mid-century furniture and more.

This model 1377 Beswick cowboy on a galloping palomino horse sold for £360.
Lot 725 was a De Lamerie cut glass crystal whisky decanter and six brandy glasses with gilt decorations in a leather bound presentation box, which sold for £420.
These two Gustavsberg Argenta vases with silver overlay in ship and fish designs sold for £260.
As always, pottery pieces proved very popular at auction this month, and we saw a large quantity of rare pottery, including vases, tea ware and figures from famous names such as Royal Doulton, Beswick, Moorcroft, Wedgwood, Lorna Bailey, Coalport, Kevin Francis & Peggy Davies and more, pass through our saleroom and fetch some amazing prices. This lovely 9ct gold charm bracelet with approximately 32 9ct gold charms sold for £440.
Lot 644 was a gold full sovereign, dated 1958, set in a decorative gate bracelet in 9ct gold, which found a new home for £490.
This large Royal Doulton character jug of a Samurai Warrior D7257 limited edition 50/250 sold for a very respectable £300.
This Beswick model 2357 of a fireside penguin sold for £260.
We sold a range of gorgeous pieces of Ercol mid-century furniture, including this blonde Ercol double glazed display cabinet, which sold for an incredible £1,600.
This blonde Ercol modular glazed display cabinet consisted of 2 display cabinets, a central chest of drawers, joining central shelves and outfacing shelves. It sold for £650!
This blonde Ercol extending dining table with two additional leaves sold for £800.
