Highlights from our October 2022 Cobridge Auction

This assorted lot of Royal Doulton character jugs, including Alfred Hitchcock and a Royal Albert Prince Albert small character jug, sold for £110 at our October Cobridge auction

Our October Cobridge auction took place this month on Sunday 30th October and featured an exciting array of items, from 20th-century British pottery and large collections of teaware to teddy bears, furniture and more. Thank you to everyone who participated in bidding, and a big congratulations to anyone who won their chosen lots!

Plenty of lots from our Cobridge Saleroom auction this October sold for a good price, so check out some of the highlights from our most recent auction below. Who knows? Maybe they’ll provide some inspiration if you have a valuation in mind.

This gorgeous selection of Wedgwood Jasperware wall plates sold for £200.

Lot 209 was a limited edition Moorcroft floral decorated 2 handled vase that found a hammer price of £220.

This large Moorcroft Martinique pattern lamp base and shade sold for £130.

This adorable lot consisted of a Merrythought Tuppenny Blue growling bear boxed with certificate, together with a GB Beefeater teddy bear and a GB Sherlock Holmes bear. These bears found a new home for a very respectable £120.

Lot 365 was a Royal Doulton gloss smooth haired Fox Terrier figure which sold for a brilliant £190.

This Marklin Clockwork Fire Brigade Fire Engine Model no- 19034 was snatched up for £90.

This charming Wylie Hills of Glasgow (Retailer) Edwardian rocking horse sold for £140.

Auctions are a great place to pick up some mid-century furniture pieces for a good price. This set of 4 Ercol style dining chairs sold for £140.

This modern corner sofa in a light grey leather featured USB charging points. It was only around 18 months old and originally cost over £3000! However one lucky bidder managed to take it home for just £850.
