The auction will commence with approximately 150 lots of ephemera including one vendors collection spanning subjects as diverse as food, drink and commerce predominantly from the first half of the twentieth century but also including some earlier and later pieces. It includes an interesting and valuable selection of postcards embracing advertising, shop fronts and department stores.

In addition there are two hundred Lafayette large studio portrait photographs of famous society subjects from around the globe from another vendors personal collection.

The next 550 lots consists of pottery and ceramics and comprises of a rare collection of Wedgwood including personal items from the prestigious Wedgwood designers Norman Wilson and Millicent Taplin, prestige items and early plaques.

There is an excellent collection of Moorcroft pottery featuring rare items by three generations of the Moorcroft family…. William, Walter and Lise.

A fine selection of Royal Doulton contains figures, character jugs, Flambe, Sung, Chang, loving cups, animals, Bunnykins and prototype pieces.

There are interesting and rare Beswick horses, animals, birds, fish, cattle and Beatrix Potter, tea and dinner ware sets by Shelley, Aynsley Orchard Gold, Spode and Minton, and a collection of rare Crown Staffordshire pottery, 18th & 19th century Staffordshire figures, Pearlware, an early Delft tile panel and plaque, Continental porcelain figure groups and vases.

Many other items of pottery and ceramic by Minton, Carltonware, Wade, Shelley China, Clarice Cliff and Royal Worcester will be available on day pne of this two day sale.
