SILVERDALE SALEROOM - July 2019 Rare 20th Century British Pottery & Antique Auction

On July 13th and 14th we are holding an interesting two day auction of antiques, collectors items, jewellery, watches, furniture and decorative arts from the private estates of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. 

Day one Saturday 13th July sale commences at 10am with 760 lots of pottery and ceramics.

Day two Sunday 14th July sale commences at 11am with furniture, Moorcroft, militaria, oriental, ephemera, silver, watches and jewellery.

Lots to include antique, contemporary and quality furniture, pictures, paintings and prints by Damien Hurst, L.S Lowry, Daniel Sherrin, Edward Stott, Jack Symcox, Professor Pigment, Frank Abrahams, David Hunt and J. Canavi miniature portraits.

Clocks, metalware, bronzes, vintage motorcycles, books, ephemera, stamps, postcards, cigarette cards, collections of autographs from the 1950’s – 1970’s including those of Laurel and Hardy.

Toys, dolls, tea caddies and boxes, silverware, cameras, vintage clothing and fur coats.

Rare Royal Doulton prototype figures, character jugs, Bunnykins, Lambeth, stoneware, Flambe. Sung, Chang, animals, horses, dogs and birds. 

Beswick horses and riders, cattle, birds and a collection of early blue animals.

Storybook figures from Beatrix Potter, Disney, Alice in wonderland, David Hands Animaland and Kitty Macbride. 

Rare items by Royal Crown Derby, Charlotte Rhead, Carltonware, Border Fine Arts, Wedgwood, Minton, Shelley and Coalport.

Large collection of Moorcroft pottery from the 1920’s to present day. Art pottery designed by William, Walter and Lise Moorcroft with many prestige items.

Oriental items including Chinese Jade, Chinese pottery, large bronze pot and Japanese Samurai swords.

Jewellery to include diamond set items, rings, gold chains, amber, antique and costume jewellery.

Ladies and Gents watches including Rolex, Breitling, Omega, Longines, Patek Phillip, 18ct and 9ct pocket watches, silver, designer pens and many other interesting items.
